My Power Trio

As a spiritual person, I have always been drawn to the idea of patron saints. But for me, it's not just one saint that I feel a connection to - it's a power trio. John the Baptist, John the Evangelist, and Mary Magdalene each hold a special place in my heart, and I believe that they are channels of the Holy Spirit in their own unique ways.

First, there's John the Baptist. He is known for his powerful baptismal ministry and for his role as the forerunner to Jesus. I see him as a channel of the Holy Spirit through his ability to baptize and prepare the way for the coming of Christ. In the gospel of Matthew, John says, "I baptize you with water for repentance. But after me comes one who is more powerful than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire" (Matthew 3:11).

Next, there's John the Evangelist. He is known for his mystical writings, particularly the book of Revelation, which speaks of the end times and the second coming of Christ. I see him as a channel of the Holy Spirit through his ability to receive divine revelations and communicate them through his writing. In the book of Revelation, John writes, "The Spirit of the Lord was upon me, and I heard behind me a loud voice like a trumpet" (Revelation 1:10).

Finally, there's Mary Magdalene. She is often referred to as an avatar of Sophia, the divine feminine wisdom. She was also a close disciple of Jesus and is believed to have received and passed on his most secret teachings. I see her as a channel of the Holy Spirit through her ability to receive and transmit divine wisdom. In the gnostic gospel of Mary, Jesus says, "Blessed are you that you did not waver at the sight of Me. For where the mind is there is the treasure." (Mary 5:9).

Together, John the Baptist, John the Evangelist, and Mary Magdalene form my power trio. They represent different aspects of the Holy Spirit and help me to connect with the divine in unique ways. John the Baptist prepares me for spiritual transformation, John the Evangelist helps me to receive divine revelations, and Mary Magdalene guides me towards divine wisdom and inner knowing.

I find comfort and inspiration in this power trio, and I believe that their teachings and examples can be relevant to anyone seeking to deepen their spiritual connection. Through their channels of the Holy Spirit, we can tap into divine wisdom, guidance, and transformation.
